Turning Point Results - December 11th 2005

This was a Barbed Wire Massacre Match between Abyss and Sabu. Sabu was the first person to be introduced to the barbed wire, followed by Abyss. Sabu pulled a spike out of his boots and attacked Abyss’s arm, causing it to bleed.

Both men bled during this match, Sabu had his ring gear ripped open on the barbed wire.

Abyss took control with a chokeslam onto a barbed wire chair.

A barbed wire board was brought into the match, which Abyss dropped Sabu onto.

The finish came when Abyss ran into a board, then fell back onto a board – leaving him in the middle, then Sabu hit a leg drop onto them for the pin, in what was one of TNA’s most violent matches.

Following the match, Abyss was being helped from the barbed wire and he received a standing ovation from the Impact Zone. We were later shown Abyss being seen to by a medical team backstage.

This was the first ever Barbed Wire Massacre Match, there have only been 4 and Abyss was in two of them.
