James Mitchell and Abyss were backstage with Shane Douglas. We are shown the stitches and scars that Abyss received following the Barbed Wire Massacre match.

James said that everyone is ranked above Abyss for a title shot, even when Abyss has given so much. They turn their attention to Rhino, saying that the trials and tribulations are nothing compared to what Abyss has been through.

Scott D’Amore then asked to speak to Mitchell.

Abyss was later in the ring with Jeff Jarrett, team Canada, AMW and Gail Kim.
