ROH - "Redemption" Results & Photos - August 12th 2005

This was Abyss’s return to Ring of Honor (he made an appearance in 2004), and he was part of The Embassy with Jimmy Rave& Alex Shelley (managed by Prince Nana and they went up against Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Matt Sydal (Generation Next) who had Daizee Haze in their corner.

Abyss got tagged into the match where he squared off against Matt Sydal and Sydal soon tagged into Austin Aries, but Abyss managed to get the upper hand and tagged out to Rave.

Abyss was able to pull Aries out of the ring and attack him on the outside, keeping the odds in The Embassy’s favour. Aries finally got the tag out to Strong, who cleaned house until Abyss sent him flying with a release German suplex.

Eventually Austin Aries would get the win after connecting with a 450 Splash on Jimmy Rave – not that it matters to Abyss as he would continue to attack Generation Next after the match, including a double rotation Black Hole Slam.

The Embassy would use Abyss to take over a backstage interview segment during the show too.

Abyss would use The Embassy's music "Drugs" By Lil Kim during his matches tagging with the group.
